As his inspiration and creativity is endless, Karl Lagerfeld and Chanel, in association with Karine Roitfeld, launched ''The little black jacket'' project with a book about the iconic and legendary tweed black jacket. More than 100 singers, actors, models and fashion experts, such as Kanye West, Sarah Jessica Parker, Uma Thurman, Yoko Ono, Milla Yokovich, Anna Wintour and many more, were photographed by Karl Lagerfeld and styled by Karine Roitfeld, wearing one of the most famous symbols of femininity and elegance, each one with their signature style.“The Chanel jacket has become the symbol of a certain elegance,
feminine, with an air of nonchalance, classic andtimeless, that is of
all times,” said Karl Lagerfeld in Paris after the photo shoot of the
book. Available in bookstores from Fall 2012, the book will accompany the
opening of an exhibition dedicated to it, which will run from March 24th
until April 15th 2012 in Tokyo.
Once again he succeeded in making an adorable show. And of course I am talking about Karl Lagerfeld who was inspired by the world and the reflections of the crystals. Yesterday( the penultimate day of PFW) the Grand Palais hosted the show and the comments were nothing less than positive as regards the crystal theme. The designer added to his creations the colours of crystals and precious stones as blue, green, bordeaux, purple, black, violet and ash grey. The most used material was velvet and the looks were fined with the icy eyebrows, made of stones. The highlight of the show was the appearance of a little boy who was wearing Chanel. After the show the guests had the opportunity to celebrate the opening of the new Chanel boutique in Avenue Montaigne.

On the 4th of March, one of the most magnificent events took place in the city of fashion.
During the Paris Fashion Week, everything stops and the city moves to the party rhythm. The house of Lanvin celebrated the anniversary of 10 years of cooperation with Alber Elbaz with a show full of glamour. The models wore dresses in red, yellow, blue and green with voluninous sleeves and of course the statement accessories which were pieces of art! After the show, an amazing party took place with famous guests as Dita Von Teese, Jessica Alba, Anna Dello Russo and Bianca Jagger. The surprise of the night was definately the moment which Alber Elbaz took the microphone and sang!
