Haute Couture Fashion Shows are officially over and were absolutely stunning! Of course one of the highlights was definately the huge comeback of John Galliano at the Maison Martin Margiela and his creations have already been commented as a new, fresh and promising restart. Here are my top 4 designers for this spring. Giorgio Armani celebrated the 10th anniversary of Armani Prive, which is traditionally a favourite choice of the Oscar Awards, with a remarkable collection. Armani has always been inspired by Asia and its nature and in this collection this influence is visible due to the bamboo motifs. Plus, the Swarovski tubes and the organza stoles gave an old glamour. Christian Dior: One of the most extravagant collections this year thanks to Raf Simons who gave another perspective to the so-called haute couture. Simons visualised an ode to David Bowie with sparking and also psychedelic jumpsuits. He used a wide colour scale and plastic in coats and over-knee boots. The decades of 50's and 60's are obvious here and Simons managed to create a futuristic past. How gorgeous is your dress having Shakespeare's quotes? Valentino did that! Rich, velvet, red gowns and capes, inspired by Russia, made the collection distinguished. Details such as the paperkit, silver clouds as patterns and rainbows, made the collection a part of a dream. Last but, definately not least, Elie Saab. Let's face it ladies, each piece is just like a farytale. Feathers, sequins, crystals are the magical ingredients of these dresses. Pastel, nude and classic black mini and long gowns hit the catwalk! So, what's your favourite?
xoxo!

Valentino s/s 2015

Even if it's still January, we can dream a little bit of summer, right? Sunbathing, collecting flowers and shells, wearing sandals and strolling around with salty hair.. Wait, that's Valentino s/s collection! The momentous brand name combined the woodland with the beach, creating floral and white mini dresses and long, pastel, ethereal ones with starfish as pattern. The models posed as sea creatures out of the water with wavy hair decorated with shells in an exquisite landscape. I'm already counting down!
